Dr. Kafle
Board Certified Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Kafle is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. As a board-certified pediatric dentist, Dr. Kafle has extensive training in all aspects of pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Kafle earned her Bachelors of Science degree at Virginia Commonwealth University. Following undergrad, she moved to New York City for her dental training and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at New York University.
In dental school Dr. Kafle was selected to serve in numerous international dental outreaches such as dental missions to provide oral health care to underprivileged children in Grenada. It was during these outreaches that Dr. Kafle fell in love with treating children and chose to continue her training and complete a two-year residency specializing in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Kafle completed her pediatric dentistry residency at Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut where she received comprehensive training in treating children with special needs and dental anxiety. Dr. Kafle is also trained extensively in behavior management, the use of nitrous oxide sedation and treatment under general anesthesia in order to safely and effectively treat young patients.
Dr. Kafle is dedicated to giving back to the community and has volunteered in dental missions such as Give Kids a Smile Day, health fairs, and Mission and Mercy.
In her spare time, Dr. Kafle enjoys running, yoga and spending time with her friends and family.
